Durdle Door
Wikipedia link
A beautiful natural arch on the "Jurassic Coast", the coastline of Dorset that has some fantastic geological features. Technically, we're not supposed to model landscape stuff in Flightgear so there's no conflict with future scenery mesh improvements, but something tells me we're not going to have satellites capable of measuring vertical holes in things any time soon. :) My first thing for Flightgear, maybe one to come back to when I've improved my skills... |
Weymouth Sealife Tower / Jurassic Skyline
Wikipedia link
An observation tower on the end of Weymouth North Quay. The gondola rises and falls, giving a nice view (assuming the visibility isn't down to CAT1 ILS landing weather...) |
Work In Progress
Bournemouth Airport Control Tower. Not a tower really, more like a hideous higgledy-piggledy hotchpotch thing with an observation room jammed on top. Apart from that, I quite like it... ;)
